Papa's Scooperia is the most involved game in the series, and worth knowing that before you open it. It is a dessert shop where the order is built in two halves: a cookie is mixed, shaped and baked, and then ice cream is scooped and dressed on top of it.
That means two stations with real timing instead of one. The dough has to be mixed to the right point and the bake has to come out on the mark, and only then does the part that looks like Freezeria begin.
It is set in Oniontown, and the orders grow with you: one cookie and one scoop at first, then two scoops, then the three-scoop platters the Closers arrive wanting.
How to play Papa's Scooperia
Dough first, scoops second
- Read the whole ticket before mixing. The cookie and the topping are one order, and starting the dough wrong means the rest of the work is wasted.
- Mix to the marker and no further. Overmixed dough cannot be rescued, which is the mistake most new players make twice.
- Bake on the mark, then move the cookie before the next order crowds the station.
- Scoop and dress on top, matching the ticket item by item. Garnishes are scored the same as the ice cream under them.
Controls
Mouse only, because the game is Flash running through an emulator with no touch support. A phone will draw the shop but cannot operate it.
Tips and strategy
Treat the oven as the clock and build everything else around it. Start the dough the moment an order lands, because the bake is the only part that cannot be hurried, and use the baking time to prepare the scoops. If you are new to the series, play Freezeria first; this one assumes the rhythm rather than teaching it.
