Summer Fresh Smoothies is a shop game where the recipes are written up where everyone can see them, and reading them properly is most of the job.
Orders come in, each one with its own drink. The blackboard holds the recipe, you collect the fruit it names, and the blending happens in the order the recipe gives rather than all at once. Get the wrong fruit in and the drink is wrong, which is the only way to fail anything here.
It is a small game and makes no attempt to be more, which is its appeal: there is no shop to upgrade and no story attached, just a counter, a board and a line of people wanting something cold.
How to play Summer Fresh Smoothies
Read the board, gather, blend, serve
- Take the order from whoever is at the counter.
- Look up the recipe on the blackboard.
- Collect the fruit it lists, and nothing it does not.
- Blend the ingredients in the sequence given, then pour and hand the drink over.
Controls
On a computer the left mouse button selects the fruit and works the counter. On a phone, tap the ingredients and the preparation areas.
Tips and strategy
Check the board for every order rather than trusting the last one, since the recipes differ more than they look and the mistakes come from assuming. Collect everything before you start blending, because hunting for a missing fruit mid-drink is what slows a shift. If two orders share a base, do them back to back.
