Papa's Pizzeria
Papa's Pizzeria
Papa's Pizzeria is the first game in the series and still the plainest. Papa Louie goes off on an adventure and leaves the shop to Delivery Boy Roy, which is you. Customers queue at the counter and every order is written out: Flipline's own example is ten onions, cooked well done, cut into four slices.
What separates it from everything that copied it is the oven holding four pizzas at once. Managing that is the whole game: you are not cooking one thing quickly, you are keeping four cooking at different stages while new orders arrive.
Over thirty-five named customers come through, each with a pizza they always order. Being the first game, it has the fewest ingredients and the clearest rules.
How to play Papa's Pizzeria
Order, top, bake, cut
- Read the slip at the counter and keep it in view. It names the toppings, the bake and the slice count, and nothing on screen repeats it later.
- Lay the toppings on in the order listed. Coverage is scored, so a topping piled in one corner costs you even when the right topping is on the pizza.
- Slide it into the oven and pull it on the mark. The bake bar is the one place a pizza can be ruined outright.
- Cut to the number of slices the slip asked for, not the number that looks right.
Controls
Mouse only, because the game is Flash running through an emulator with no touch support. Clicking and dragging covers everything: pick up a topping, place it, move the pizza between stations.
Tips and strategy
Load the oven before you start the next build, so something is always baking while you work. The four slots are the point of the game and an empty one is wasted time. Toppings can be corrected before the pizza goes in, so hesitate at the counter rather than at the oven door.

Frequently asked questions
Why is Papa's Pizzeria not working?
It is a Flash game running through an emulator. If the screen stays on the loading art, reload the page; nothing needs installing and no plugin has to be enabled.
Can I play Papa's Pizzeria on a phone?
No. The emulator has no touch support, so the game draws on a phone but cannot be operated. A mouse is the only way to play it.
Which Papa game should I start with?
Pizzeria is the oldest and has the fewest ingredients, so the rules are easiest to see. Freezeria is the most forgiving on timing. Scooperia is the one to leave until the rhythm is familiar.
Is Papa's Pizzeria free?
Yes, free in the browser with no account and no payment at any point.
