Papa's Pancakeria is the breakfast entry, set at Maple Mountain, and the menu is wider than the name suggests: waffles and French toast come off the same griddle as the pancakes.
The stack is what makes it different from the other games. Toppings go between the layers as well as on top, so the order has to be built in the sequence written rather than assembled and decorated, and a drink is part of the ticket once the Drink Station unlocks.
Over fifty customers come through, and each day closes with The Great Foodini's travelling game show, which you get into using tickets earned during the shift rather than automatically.
How to play Papa's Pancakeria
Pour, griddle, stack, pour again
- Read the stack from the bottom up, because that is the order you will build it in and the ticket lists it the same way.
- Pour each pancake and flip on the mark. The griddle takes several at once and they do not all go on at the same moment.
- Stack with the between-layer toppings as you go. Adding them at the end is the single most common way to lose an order.
- Finish with syrup and the surface toppings, then pour the drink if the ticket names one.
Controls
Mouse only. The game is Flash through an emulator, which has no touch support, so a phone will show it but cannot play it.
Tips and strategy
Build from the bottom and never lift a finished stack to fix it. Keep the griddle loaded while you assemble, since pouring and stacking are the fast parts and the griddle is the slow one. Save tickets rather than spending them the first day they appear, because the game show is where the prizes that change the shop come from.
