Delicious - Emily's Home Sweet Home
Delicious - Emily's Home Sweet Home
Delicious: Emily's Home Sweet Home runs two things at once: a restaurant shift and a house that needs rebuilding. The O'Malleys have moved into a place that is barely standing, and what you earn on the floor pays for the rooms.
The restaurants carry you through the story, Emily's Garden first, then Talon Lake, Happy Funtime Land, the Farmer's Market, the Ski Lounge and Emily's Place, and each is a different floor plan rather than a different skin.
There is a mouse called Carl in the restaurants, and catching him is a running task of its own. Photo moments unlock as rooms are finished, which is the thread that ties the two halves together.
How to play Delicious - Emily's Home Sweet Home
Serve the floor, furnish the house
- Take orders in batches and plan the route, since walking is what costs time in this series.
- Serve, take the money and clear the setting. The seat counts as occupied until all three are done.
- Catch Carl when he appears rather than ignoring him. He is a task, not scenery.
- Spend the day's earnings on the house between shifts, which is where the story progresses.
Controls
Click or tap guests, tables, dishes and the register. It plays on a phone as well as a computer.
Tips and strategy
Treat every trip as two errands: nothing should be carried one way empty. Drinks and table entertainment are the quickest way to keep a waiting guest from leaving, so use them on the table nearest to walking out rather than the one that has waited longest. The house is the reward, so spend on it rather than hoarding.
