Couple Cooking Challenge
Couple Cooking Challenge
Couple Cooking Challenge is two recipes in one game, held together by the fact that neither cook knows the other is cooking. Each partner has decided to surprise the other with their favourite thing, so you end up making both sides of the same evening.
His half is savoury. Cheese and lettuce are chopped, the patties go in the pan, the buns are topped and the sauces go on last.
Hers is the dessert. A base is baked, then garnished with buttercream and fruit and finished with sweets and hearts, which is where the game stops being about cooking and starts being about decoration.
Despite the name it is a single player game: the challenge is between the two characters, not between two people at one keyboard.
How to play Couple Cooking Challenge
His dish, then hers
- Start with the savoury half: chop the cheese and the lettuce into pieces.
- Fry the patties, then build the burger on the bun and add the sauces.
- Move to the dessert and bake the base.
- Spread the buttercream, add the fruit, and finish with sweets and hearts.

Tips and strategy
Do the chopping in full before anything goes in the pan, because the savoury half is the only part with heat involved and loose ends there cost more than they do in the baking. On the dessert, lay the buttercream down evenly before adding anything to it. Neither recipe is timed, so the decoration is worth the extra minute.
