Yummy Churros Ice Cream

Yummy Churros Ice Cream is a one-dessert game, and the dessert is churros served with ice cream rather than a plate of them on their own.

The making is in two halves that feel quite different. First the kitchen: you choose the tools and the ingredients yourself, and the batter has to go together in the order the game shows you, which it then stops showing. Fry them too long and they are ruined, so the pan needs watching rather than leaving.

Then the decorating, which has no wrong answer at all. Ice cream goes on top and the syrups, fruit and sweets are there to be used however you like, with nothing scored and nothing timed.

How to play Yummy Churros Ice Cream

Choose, mix, fry, decorate

  • Pick out the ingredients and the kitchen tools the recipe calls for.
  • Watch the order the batter goes together in, then repeat it from memory.
  • Pipe the batter into the pan and take the churros out before they darken.
  • Add the ice cream, then the syrups, the fruit and the sweets in whatever combination you want.

Tips and strategy

Pay attention during the demonstration rather than after it, since the batter order is shown once and guessing it costs the batch. Pull the churros slightly early if you are unsure, because underdone is recoverable on screen and burnt is not. Save the decorating for last and take your time over it, as that part cannot be failed.

Frequently asked questions

Is Yummy Churros Ice Cream free?

Yes, free in the browser with no account and no payment, on a phone or a computer.

Is it timed?

No. Only the frying has to be watched, and the decorating at the end has no clock on it at all.

What do you put on them?

Ice cream first, then syrups, fruit and sweets, in any combination you like.

Why did my churros burn?

They were left in the pan too long. Taking them out as soon as they colour is the whole trick.
