Yummy Toast
Yummy Toast is the opening day of a toast shop, and it is organised as four jobs rather than one loop.
First the flat grill has to be scrubbed, then a sauce is mixed to give the toast its flavour, then the ingredients are toasted without burning, ham slices, bread and eggs among them. Only after all three does the shop open.
The last chapter is the shop itself: ten customers, each with an order written above their head, and you click the ingredients they asked for. Ten is the whole game, which makes it short and finishable in one sitting.
How to play Yummy Toast
Clean, sauce, toast, sell
- Clean the flat grill as the instructions show. Nothing else starts until it is done.
- Mix the sauce. It is one step and it decides what flavours the shop can offer.
- Toast the ingredients and watch them rather than the queue. Burnt toast cannot be served.
- Read each of the ten orders above the customers and click the ingredients named, in that order.
Controls
Click or tap an ingredient or a tool, then where it goes. It plays on a phone as well as a computer.
Tips and strategy
Get the cleaning and the sauce finished properly before the shop opens, because going back is what makes the last chapter feel rushed. In the selling stage the orders repeat, so recognising a combination is quicker than reading it twice. Burning is the only real failure state, so watch the grill, not the clock.
