Rainbow Frozen
Rainbow Frozen is a blended ice drink made from the ground up, and it takes the long route: before anything is mixed, you freeze your own ice in a tray.
The cup comes first, oddly enough. It is decorated with stickers and drawings before it holds anything, so the container is part of the thing you are making rather than an afterthought.
Then the fruit. Pears, kiwis and strawberries are cut by hand, the ice comes out of the tray, and the blender handle is turned until everything has come together. The rainbow in the name comes from mixing two flavours rather than from layering, and the last choice is which straw goes in.
Nothing is timed, nothing is scored and there are no customers.
How to play Rainbow Frozen
Decorate the cup, freeze, cut, blend
- Decorate the plastic cup with the stickers and drawings on offer.
- Choose which two flavours you are mixing.
- Fill the ice tray with water and leave it to freeze.
- Cut the pears, the kiwis and the strawberries on the board.
- Put it all in the blender, turn the handle, then pick a straw.
Controls
Played with the left mouse button on the menus and the tools. The game is built for a desktop screen.
Tips and strategy
Start the ice freezing before you touch the fruit, since that is the one step that takes real time and everything else can be done while it sets. Pick two flavours that contrast rather than two that blend into the same colour, because the mix is the whole look of it. Decorate the cup first, as the game intends.

Frequently asked questions
What kind of drink is it?
A blended fruit and ice drink, closer to a slushie than a smoothie, made in a blender from ice you freeze yourself.
Is this a Disney Frozen game?
No. "Frozen" here is the name of the drink, not a film reference. Nothing in it is connected to the film.
Is it timed?
No. There is no clock, no score and no customer: the drink is made at whatever pace you want.
Does it work on a phone?
It is built for a desktop screen and some hosts block small displays, so a computer is the safer bet.
