Dr Panda Restaurant
Dr Panda Restaurant
Dr Panda Restaurant is the browser version of a kitchen toy built for very young players, and it keeps that shape. Nothing runs on a clock, nothing is scored and there is no way to fail, which makes it one of the few cooking games a child can be left alone with.
Guests pull up outside and wait to be seated. What each one wants appears in a bubble above the table, and the food is cut, stirred, toasted, blended or fried at its own station before being carried over and held up for them to eat.
Then the plates go onto a trolley to be washed and the rubbish is sorted into the matching bins, which the game treats as part of the job rather than an afterthought.
How to play Dr Panda Restaurant
Seat them, cook, feed, clear up
- Wait for a guest to arrive and pick a free table for them.
- Look at the bubble over their head to see what they asked for.
- Make it at the station that dish needs, which may mean chopping, stirring, toasting, blending or frying.
- Carry the plate to the table and hold the food up to the guest.
- Put the used plates on the trolley, wash them, and drop each piece of rubbish into the bin it belongs in.
Controls
Click or tap, and that is all. No keyboard, no timer, and no step you can get wrong badly enough to lose.
Tips and strategy
Clear a table as soon as its guest has finished, because a table still covered in plates cannot take the next arrival and that is the only thing that ever stalls the restaurant. With nothing timed, the game rewards poking at it: open a station you have ignored and see what it makes. The recycling bins are worth doing properly, since sorting is half the point.

Frequently asked questions
Is Dr Panda Restaurant free?
Yes, free in the browser with no account and no payment, on a phone or a computer.
Is it timed or scored?
Neither. There is no clock, no score and no fail state, so a dish left half made simply waits for you.
What age is it for?
Young children. Orders are shown as pictures, nothing needs reading, and nothing can be lost.
Is this the same as the Dr. Panda app?
It is the browser version from the same studio. The phone app is a separate paid release with its own menu and extras.
