Cook and Match: Sara's Adventure

Cook and Match is a match-three puzzle wearing a kitchen, and that is the first thing to know: nothing here is cooked. Sara writes a market list, and you collect what is on it by matching ingredients.

Swapping two adjacent pieces to make a row of three or more is the whole mechanic. Onions, bell peppers and cheese wedges are what you are moving, and matching more than three earns boosters shaped like kitchen tools, knives, blenders and pressure cookers, which clear an area when used.

Each level sets its own objective rather than asking for the same thing twice, so the list is what changes rather than the difficulty curve.

How to play Cook and Match: Sara's Adventure

Read the list, match, bank the boosters

  • Check the objective before the first move. Levels ask for different ingredients and different amounts.
  • Swap neighbouring tiles to line up three or more of the same ingredient.
  • Aim for matches longer than three where you can, since that is what produces the kitchen-tool boosters.
  • Save a booster for a corner the board will not open on its own rather than spending it at once.

Controls

Click or tap two neighbouring tiles to swap them, or drag one onto the other. It plays on a phone as well as a computer.

Tips and strategy

Work the bottom of the board first, because clearing low lets everything above it fall and cascade. Read the objective rather than matching whatever is easiest: a level asking for cheese is not helped by a long run of onions. Boosters are worth more saved than spent.
