Cooking Contest
Cooking Contest sets two princesses against each other on donuts day, and the whole game is the decorating. Snow White works on one side of the screen and Elsa on the other, each with her own set of tasks to get through.
Icing goes on first, then sprinkles, chocolate candies and syrups, and the order and the combination are left to you. There is no recipe to match and nothing to burn.
What gives it a point is the jury at the end. The finished donuts are judged and one of the two princesses is declared the winner, so the decorating is a competition rather than a free play area, even though nothing in it can go wrong along the way.
How to play Cooking Contest
Ice, sprinkle, judge
- Work through each princess's list of tasks in turn.
- Pick an icing and cover the donut with it.
- Add the sprinkles, the chocolate candies and the syrups in whatever combination appeals.
- Finish both sides and let the jury compare them.
Controls
Played with the mouse: click to select a topping and click the donut to apply it.
Tips and strategy
Give both princesses the same amount of attention, since the jury is comparing one against the other and a plain tray next to a decorated one is the only way to come off badly. Contrast reads better than quantity: a dark glaze with bright sprinkles scores better than piling everything on. Nothing is timed, so finish one donut properly before starting another.
