Veggie Pizza Challenge

Veggie Pizza Challenge is a vegetarian pizza game built around two friends, Noelle and Jessie, who are trying out a new pizza place and ordering as they go.

The preparation runs further back than most pizza games. You shop for the vegetables first, then wash and prepare them, then chop each one the way the recipe asks before any of it reaches the dough. Tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, broccoli and parsley all go through that routine.

Each pizza then has to match the picture the girls are holding, and the money it earns opens the next one up. A separate free mode drops the pictures and lets you buy whatever vegetables you like and build the pizza your own way.

How to play Veggie Pizza Challenge

Shop, wash, chop, match the picture

  • Buy the vegetables the order needs.
  • Wash and prepare them at the sink.
  • Chop each one to the size the recipe asks for.
  • Lay them on the dough so the pizza matches the picture, then serve it and see if the girls approve.
  • Spend the money on the next pizza, or switch to the free mode and buy what you like.

Tips and strategy

Compare your pizza with the picture before serving rather than after, because approval is the only thing standing between you and the next order. Prepare every vegetable the order lists before you start laying any of them out, since switching back to the board breaks the rhythm. In the free mode, buy less than you think you need.
