Put on your cowboy boots and your cowboy hat on, because Cookinggames.com is taking you to the Wild West with Cowboy Saloon Defence. Here you play as a cowboy who must protect his favorite saloon from the incoming enemies. As you would expect from a game placed in the American frontier, the sounds of the revolver will thunder in the sky and its immense power will prove to be quite an effective method to stave off your enemies. And you're going to need all the firepower you can get in Cowboy Saloon Defence, because things can get out of hand pretty quickly, especially in the later levels, where more enemies come to attack you. To aid you in your defense, there is an upgrade system that appears at the end of each level, where you can upgrade one of the main characteristics of your character: the power of the shots, the accuracy of your aim (initially your hand is trembling a bit from all the things that are to come), the number of bullets you can carry before you need to reload, and the speed at which you can shoot your bullets.
In order to be able to upgrade in all of these vital areas, you have to shoot at the coins that the enemies drop. But be careful, because each shot you take to collect coins is one less shot you can take at defeating an incoming enemy, so each moment you have all sorts of small decisions that you have to quickly consider. And because the enemies come with a variety of behaviors and characteristics, you have lots of things to take into account with each shot you take. Some enemies can move diagonally, forcing to take this movement into account and predict their trajectory, some of them are very fast, some explode when they die, while other just take lots of bullets to defeat. And in Cowboy Saloon Defence you can have various types of enemies coming at you at the same time, so you have to prioritize fast and be as efficient as you can with your movements because even changing your aim takes quite some time, and every second matters.
Luckily, you don't have to manually shoot, as each shot is taken automatically, and the speed at which you can shoot is determined by the fire rate characteristic of your character. In the later levels there are lots of things you have to manage, and being able to choose what the best course of action is will determine if you survive for another round or not. Should you attack a particular enemy that is the most immediate threat, shoot towards some coins to collect them, or change the direction of your aim, an action that loses precious moments when you are not shooting at anything? Figuring out the correct order of actions ensures your survival.
Go on a trip to the Wild West with the help of Cookinggames.com when you play Cowboy Saloon Defence.
In Cowboy Saloon Defence you only have to control the direction your gun is aiming towards, as well as select the appropiate upgrades. Both of these actions can be made by using the left mouse button, if you are playing on a PC, or by tapping the screen, if you are using a mobile device.
